Candle Prayer
Lord, may this candle be a light for you
to enlighten me in my difficulties and decisions.
May it be a fire for you to burn out of me all pride, selfishness,
and impurity.
May it be a flame for you to bring warmth into my heart toward my family, my neighbors and all those
who meet me.
Through the prayers of Mary, Virgin & Mother, I place in your care those I came to remember, especially
[name].
Since I can not stay long with you here, in leaving this candle, I wish to give you something of myself.
Help
me to continue my prayer into everything I do this day.
Amen

Please fill out the form below to light a candle for someone you love and have a
prayer posted for them in the prayer room. All fields are optional if you wish to keep your privacy -
only enter in as much information as you would like published.
Your email address is required by default, however, it will not be made public
nor will it be used to send you junk mail!
After you have submitted this form, you will be redirected to the prayer
room, please take a moment to read some (or all) of the prayers, in doing so you will be giving strength and support
to others in their time of need. The same will be done for you in return - after you have posted your prayer.
Have your friends and family visit your candle as well so they can pray along with you. Remember, there is power in
prayer, and there is also strength in numbers, so let's all give each other strength and pray together.

If you pray with words, let them be filled with love and come from
the deepest of your heart. Pray with great respect and trust. Fold your hands, close your eyes and lift up your heart to the
Lord. Let your prayer be a pure sacrifice to God. Do not pray loud and not too quiet. Pray simply. Let your heart speak. Praise
the Lord with all your soul.
Words will come like that from the bottom of your heart and you
will find joy in prayer. Stop once in a while by a word and think it over, let it sink to the bottom of your heart.
Keep them during the rest of the day: They will bring you peace.
"Nothing
but love" by Mother Teresa.
